At Plymouth and District Mind in the last two years we supported over 3,000 people in the local community with mental health issues and in mental distress, helping them to recover and manage their illness.
You can help us carry on making a difference to the lives of local people struggling with mental health problems by supporting us in one of the following ways:
We are affiliated to Mind (the national organisation) but we are responsible for our own fundraising..and WE NEED YOUR HELP to keep us going! Visit our Donation page to find out more!
Do good, feel great! Our work relies on people like you…we wouldn’t be able to do without the people who give their time, money, energy and passion to make sure Plymouth & District Mind can be there for everyone who needs us. Visit our Fundraising page to find out how you can get involved.
We rely on the assistance of a great many volunteers to help us deliver our services and support our day-to-day work. We are very proud of the work that our volunteers do. We offer a variety of roles that you can get involved with, and would also be very interested to hear if you have any new ideas that you would like to support us with. Please visit our volunteering page to see how you can get involved.
We offer a variety of activities – from sport to singing, art, peer support groups- run by volunteers which are free or very cheap to attend. If you are looking to meet new people in your community and getting out and about, this is the place to be!
Involve your company.
From motivating staff to supporting a powerful cause, there’s plenty of reasons to get involved and help us be there for anyone facing poor mental health. Find our more about how you can Involve your Company.
