LIMINA supports people and organisations to learn in and from phases of transition by providing educational activities aimed at developing the liminal competences.
LIMINA designs learning spaces and experiences to allow for new perspectives, pathways and opportunities to successfully engage with transition and change processes, that are often dominated by uncertainty and ambiguity. Our approach is based on 3 key words: exploring, engaging and emerging. We believe each process of deep learning and change meanders through these three spaces and/or phases:
* Exploring gives space for connecting with the issue, the situation to search for the underlying energies. It is a space where experience is lived in all its dimensions. It is about sensing with the eyes, heart and the mind
* Engaging is a space for reflection, for understanding, for working with some of the underlying energies
Facilitating such processes means for us: – Inviting all senses – Embracing complexity and ambiguity – Paying attention to the whole and the system – Focusing on resources, potential and solutions.

- Sir Ken Robinson and his inspiring talks on Systems Thinking and Constructivist Learning: especially Heinz von Förster, Rolf Arnold, Jack Mezirow
- Experiential learning originated by Kolb learning cycle and furthered developed by the community of practitioners belonging to Via Experientia
- Howard Gardner and his ideas on Multiple Intelligences and by our many colleagues from all over the world we have worked with over the last 20 years.
